Joy A. Amundson is corporate vice president and president of Baxter's BioScience business. In this position, she oversees Baxter's worldwide biopharmaceutical, vaccine and regenerative medicine products.
Prior to joining Baxter in 2004, Ms. Amundson was a principal of Amundson Partners, Inc., a healthcare consulting firm. She served in a variety of executive positions at Abbott Laboratories for more than 20 years, including president and senior vice president of Ross Products. Ms. Amundson also served in several brand management roles during a six-year tenure at Procter & Gamble.
Ms. Amundson is active in industry and community organizations.
She holds a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and advertising from the University of Wisconsin and a masters of management degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Business.
